Hello Parents 

Just a reminder next week we will be travelling to the pool in Busselton for swimming lessons.  We will leave school at about 9:30 and return around 1 as we will be having double lessons with a break in between.  As such please ensure that you child has a packed recess and crunch-n-sip next week as we will need to take these with us to the pool.

Please take the time to check that your child has what they need and that it is all clearly labelled;

  • bathers
  • towel
  • goggles
  • change of underwear
  • thongs to were on the bus and to the pool
  • Rashie
  • Sports Uniform

Please include underwear in this as there is always a pair left over that belongs to no one!

Your child can wear their bathers underneath their sports uniform if they are comfortable but we will also give time for them to get changed.

Please note - your child must come to school wearing their sneakers, not thongs. Have a lovely day!

Dear Parents  Some information for next week! Excursion We are excited to go on our annual cultural excursion with the Year 1 students having the opportunity to learn about the deep connection the Wadandi people have to the Cape to Cape region.  Josh from Koomal dreaming will take us on a Kaya tour around the lighthouse and teach us about the landscape through the eyes and knowledge of an indigenous custodian.  We are looking forward to the experience and are hoping for two parent helpers from each class who are free for the day so please email me if you are (unfortunately we will only be able to accomodate two so first in...).  We will be leaving school around 9.30 and returning about 12.00 next Tuesday 16th November.   Seesaw Please make sure you have notifications set to appear on your Seesaw app so that you are aware of each update and get a great reminder to check out the small snippet of amazing work examples by your child.  You are welcome to 'like' the post and comment

Hello and welcome to the Year 1C blog.    I hope you have all had a relaxing and peaceful holiday and enjoyed some of this beautiful summer weather!   I am looking forward to getting to know your beautiful children and working with you throughout your child's learning journey this year. My name is Isobel Christie, I just moved down south recently after Graduating University at Notre Dame Fremantle with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education. Morning time Drop Off

Hello Parents  I hope you are having a lovely week so far and you are enjoying the sunshine. Just a quick message from me.  Drop off  Can I please ask you to Kiss and drop at the door and not come into the classroom. As much as I love having you, we have a few students who need to settle in and having lots of adults in the room is overwhelming for them.
