Welcome Back!!!!

 Hello Parents,

Welcome back to the first day of Term 4. I hope you had a lovely break with the family and are ready to get back into the final nine weeks of Year One!!! I can't believe how fast the year has gone.. I am going to cherish this term with your cherubs. A warm welcome back to Arlo Townsend and Isla Reagan who have been away travelling (so lucky), it is so lovely to have you both back in the classroom.

A few messages to start off the term...

Seesaw
Seesaw has been a brilliant reporting tool for us as teachers and we love seeing your comments on all your children’s work. We are looking forward to continuing this great reporting method this term along with your child’s end of semester report which will include grades and a general comment.  We cant wait to share more of our amazing work with you before the end of Term Four, so keep an eye out for our amazing work to come!😍

Albert the Teddy Bear

Meet Albert the teddy bear, newest member of 1C. Albert is my special take home teddy and is here to encourage children to write. Every two days I will choose someone in the class with beautiful behavior to take Albert and a journal home for two nights.Your child can write a story about the adventures of Albert, your child might just want to take a photo with Albert. Your child might want to write a sentence in the take home book about what Albert got up too. I don't want to put any pressure on the children or yourselves. It is okay if they just do a drawing in the take home journal. If you don't have a printer at home I can print any photos out at school and stick it in the book. The child who takes Albert home can then share with the class their special "Adventure with Albert". Please make sure to bring Albert home after two nights and because its such a short term and I want everyone in the class to get a turn I will send him home on weekends too.
